When I look at other peoples avatars I look at the detail and any special effects it might have, if it's not my liking ill just say that's cool, or cute. If I like the effects to it, ill ask for the particular part of the avatar that has the special effects on it, Id prefer you give me the piece I ask for, or "I will" screen capture it. Don't be afraid of showing me your av, remember I don't ever wear anyone elses avatars but my own, so I don't want your avatar for, your avatar, I just want to see how it was made. I only want to get a better look at the detail. I'll do it "with" or "without" your permission. Now please understand that i just want to get a close up look at your avatar to see how it was done, I do not, and will not, use any avatar I look at as an avatar for myself or for anyone else, as I have stated before I do not! wear anyone elses avatars at anytime except for my own.
Things I absolutely cannot stand for on palace is/are:
Tommy Hilfigger, tags, clans, peoples names that have like numbers in shit in them, nwo crap of wrestling or the alike, people who think they are better than everyone else for no reason, people who wear their real picture because they think they are supermodel material, people who have to type perfectly with everything they say, people who use the same little sayings over and over like umm *s*, or smile symbols over and over, people who talk like they need to get hooked on phonics, or people who talk ebonics on palace; talking in ebonics is the worst thing you can do around me. That or have like a master p avatar or some rap name on or the similar crap.
Things I love on palace:
The gathering of artistic talent. Good editing rooms. Good friends. Good arguments. Getting to show off artistic talent. The highest of highs when you show an avatar you just finished slaving on for about 16hrs, and the crowd of people in a room like scream "HOLY FREAKING, SHIT!, DAMN! YOUR SO DAMN GOOD! WOW! OMG! I JUST HAVE TO HAVE THAT AV!!!". Seeing another av that is good, and you just don't have the avatar to one up it, and you end up editing all night. Avatar contests. Killing an asshole off of a palace. The happiness of editing for someone else. The happiness of editing for someone, and they actually love what you did to it. Editing. Talking the way you really want to without any real consequences. The lack of freedom of speech. Seeing your paperdoll body being used in any avatar. Learning from others on how to edit better. Teaching others how to edit better. Entering a contest and losing, so you try harder next time. Entering a contest and winning, to show your one of the best. Having a better editor tell you your work is pretty damn good. Telling a beginner at editing that he/she has great potential. Giving real advice and thoughts on another persons edit. Getting good advice from a fellow editor on different techniques on how to do something better. I could go on, and on and on.
