Palace editing

This walk through is for the palace beginner, for those who are more expierenced, please just scroll down to find a subject you want to find, that I can help you with. I would like for you to understand a few things before we/you begin this. I want you to try to do as the text says to do, and if all else fails, look at the picture if you can't tell or understand what I said in the text for some reason.

Before we even get started you will have familiarize yourself with the tools at your disposal.

The Pencil tool can be used to color a prop, pixel by pixel, or by holding the ALT key down, you can fill an entire area with a  selected color...

The Selection tool can be used to select an area of a prop and drag it to a different location in the prop editing area. It can also be used to copy a selection by using CTRL + C, and paste by using CTRL + V, so you can put selection into new, other props, or other avatar parts/pieces.

The Eraser Tool is used the same way as the pencil, except that it makes areas transparent, instead of adding, it takes away.

The three lines down below erase, are for changing the size of your pencil or eraser...it comes in handy.

By clicking on the word HEAD, you can see to it that the default  smiley face disappear from behind your prop. NOTE: Be sure to just click the word, and not the check box. Nothing will happen if you click the box. Why is that you ask? Blame the palace programmers, not me.

By clicking on the word GHOST, you can make your prop transparent/see threw. NOTE: Be sure to just click the word, and not the check box. Nothing will happen if you click the box. Why is that you ask? Blame the palace programmers, not me.

By clicking on the word RARE, makes the prop dissapear from your inventory when taken off and laid out for others, be carefull. NOTE: Be sure to just click the word, and not the check box. Nothing will happen if you click the box. Why is that you ask? Blame the palace programmers, not me.

By Clicking on the word ANIM, you can animate your prop (you must have at least two peices of animation for the animation to work. NOTE: Be sure to just click the word, and not the check box. Nothing will happen if you click the box. Why is that you ask? Blame the palace programmers, not me.

By Clicking on the word BOUNCE, you can make your animation cycle fowards, backwards and forward again etc. NOTE: Be sure to just click the word, and not the check box. Nothing will happen if you click the box. Why is that you ask? Blame the palace programmers, not me.

By typing your name into the text bar above the prop options of head, ghost, rare, anim and bounce, you can let people know that you created or edited this prop, don't erase the names of others. NOTE: Do not erase a persons name on an av if you just did a small amount of editing on it, only erase the existing name if the work you have done as been extreamly different. (Small editing is like coloring diff colors and or moving the av around ect ect)
